Reports: Zidane Warns Real President About CR7 Issue

It is believed that manager Zinedine Zidane has shared one of his concerns about Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid’s president.
According to Don Balon, the Frenchman has expressed a worry involving the Portuguese superstar, who recently qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup with his country, to Florentino Perez.
Zidane is said to be concerned that Ronaldo could suffer from burn out this season, especially with the dips in form from the likes of Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema.
Due to their lack of contributions in recent games, more pressure is on the 32-year-old forward, who is yet to score a league goal from his three matches this season so far after he was suspended for the first four games.
In the previous campaign Zidane had the luxury of resting Ronaldo on many occasions in the league, but considering their sluggish start to their title defence, the manager might feel hesitant to do that this time out.
With Alvaro Morata having been sold to Chelsea and Benzema being injured, Los Blancos appear short on numbers in attack.
The publication claims that Ronaldo understands how being rested last season benefited his game, especially as he was able to get better as the campaign went on.
This was evident in Real’s last five UEFA Champions League games in 2016/17, where he scored 10 goals, including a brace in the final against Juventus.
