Wasteful Sundowns Dropped Points Again

Mamelodi Sundowns stretched their winless streak to three games in the Absa Premiership when they were held to a 0-0 draw by Polokwane City at the Loftus Versveld Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The home side started to find their rhythm and gradually created more opportunities, with Percy Tau's 10th  minute header going wide of the target.
Polokwane had their first effort at goal in the 12th minute when Lucky Mohomi was dispossessed in the midfield, but Walter Musona's long range effort failed to test Kennedy Mweene.

Tau wasted arguably the best opportunity of the game in the 79th minute when Laffor did well the evade the attention of two defenders before playing Tau, but the forward's effort wss hit straight at the goalkeeper.
Sundowns threw numbers forward and Hlompho Kekana almost headed Modise's well-delivered ball into the area, but the Masandawana captain's effort was narrowly wide of the target.
The home side were unable to find the breakthrough and extended their winless streak to three consecutive games in the league.
