Pirates weakest player Sarr To Join Al Ahly On A Free?

Orlando Pirates midfielder, Issa Sarr, is still wanted by Egyptian club, Al Ahly, who are looking to land the player on a free at the end of the season.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Issa Sarr, who is in the final months of his contract with the Soweto giants, is a wanted man in North Africa, and the player’s representative, Denis Idrissa, confirmed to the Siya crew that advanced talks and negotiations had taken place with the Egyptian giants.
However, indications are that Al Ahly are keen on waiting until the end of the season for the 30-year-old, which means that the club is looking to land the player’s signature on a pre-contract in the upcoming January transfer window.
With just two weeks to go before the January transfer window period, Pirates will be in a race against time to tie the player down on a new contract, if they opt to extend his stay before he enters the last six months of his current deal.
Now, it remains to be seen whether the club will look to open up negotiations with the player in the coming weeks.
Pirates Administrative Officer, Floyd Mbele was contacted via email to enquire about Sarr’s contract situation at the club, however he did not respond at the time.
