PSL decided to leave fans behind when it comes to players awards , its about time fans included on the awards.
It really hurts me when I see PSL players get the awards at the end of the season for their job well done while the fans are getting nothing. Football without fans could be nothing. Why PSL is undermining our fans I mean these are the people that spent their money to buy tickets and spent their money for the transport to go to the stadiums. When the morale of the team is low, fans are there to support them. When the team is losing they are always there backing them to pull up their socks, They sing and shout just to see their teams winning. Come end of the season they get nothing.

For me its disappointing that PSL executive never thought of including an award for the best supporter of the year. This could bring or attract more supporters to come and watch football at the stadiums not once in a month but several times. Each an every Month  PSL awards players, Coaches and teams for their outstanding performance. E.g. Q-innovation, Player of the month and Coach of the Month. Why can't they do the same to the fans? Maybe its because we have poor attendance in our games or its because fans are being undermined or ignored but whatever it is...Its frustrating and disappointing.

We always cry about poor attendance but I think PSL executive must also takes blame for this....I mean there are many things that they(PSL)are failing to do, things that could attract, bring or give more interests to the fans to go to the stadiums in an every game not only just when Kaizer Chiefs is playing. I repeat PSL must include fans in their awards ceremony at the end of the season.

Bloemfontein Celtics fans bring something special in PSL, I even wondered sometimes if they do know the final score at the end of the game. They don't watch the game they just sing, dance and do everything that they think and believe will motivate players. Even if they are losing you will never see them shouting or criticizing their own players.

They form a good example of what a good supporter is....Its so hard to be a supporter because you just give your supporter and hope that your team will do well and then it ends there, you get nothing. To some people football is everything, There are some people that can't even eat when their teams are playing. Do you know why? Its because of the love in football that's why I urge PSL executive(Mr Irvin Khoza and Co to consider the fans in PSL awards not just the likes of Khama Billiat and Khune's etc.

Bloemfontein Celtic's number one supporter Botha Masilo

Botha Masilo, A number one Celtic's fan travels to almost every game for PSL: During the opening weekend of the season, Bloemfontein Celtic’s self-proclaimed number one fan Botha Masilo travelled to the MTN8 quarter-final Bidvest Wits at Bidvest Stadium. The next day he was at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium for the Platinum Stars vs Free State Stars match and day after that he was in Nelspruit for Orlando Pirates vs SuperSport United.Milpark, Rustenburg and Mbombela all in one weekend – that is the story of Botha Masilo. Why can't PSL gives him the award for his sensational love or supporter for the beautiful game I mean right now he is the best supporter in the world and PSL is so blessed to him in South Africa.
