'Football Without Messi Isn’t Football'

Messi announced his retirement from Argentina following his country’s second consecutive Copa America final defeat to Chile back in June.
Neymar says that he understands the Argentine’s decision, but feels that international football will not be the same without Messi.
“I respect his decisions, but football without Messi isn't football, it's hard to imagine it without him,” Neymar said at a public event, as quoted by ESPN.
“If you like football at all, you can't help but admire Messi and everything he's achieved for Argentina and Barcelona.”
The 28-year-old his father, Jorge, have been sentenced to 21 months in prison - likely to be suspended - after being found guilty of Tax fraud in Spain, but Neymar promised his support for his teammate.
“Messi is not only my friend, he is also my idol, and I will always support him. I can imagine what he is going through” he added.
