Tinkler Admits To Pirates' Struggle

With the season coming to a close, Eric Tinkler has admitted that Orlando Pirates are finding it tough to keep up with their tight schedule.

The 45-year-old has said that with both Absa Premiership and Nedbank Cup commitments, despite it being nothing new, his team are struggling to keep up with the fixture list.

“We are used to these tight schedules now,” he told the Siya crew. “It's becoming tougher for us if you look at that on Wednesday we are facing Chippa and then on Saturday we are taking on Free State Stars in the Nedbank Cup.”

However, the former Bafana Bafana defender said that his team are accustomed to the difficult schedule and that they will be able to get through it.

“That has been our daily life this season and though it's becoming tough we are professionals and we have to keep on going,” Tinkler concluded.

Pirates’ next game against Chippa United takes place on Wednesday evening at 19:30 in the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
