Bucs Pay R2 Million For Zimbabwean Youngster?

Orlando Pirates are believed to have paid R2 million to have Marshall Munetsi, who is set to join them at the end of the season.

Munetsi is a young midfielder from Zimbabwe, who is currently on the books of FC Cape Town, and has been performing well in the National First Division.

It is all but confirmed that talented player will be joining Pirates at the end of the season. As revealed by the Siya crew in the latest edition of Soccer Laduma this week, Bucs are expected to fork out millions of Rands to secure the player’s services for the 2016/17 Absa Premiership campaign.

The central midfielder has been likened to Ivorian superstar, Manchester City’s Yaya Toure, by African Beasts boss Errol Dicks. The Buccaneers are believed to have reached an agreement with the Mother City outfit for the player’s transfer at the end of the season, with the Soweto giants expected to secure his services on a long-term, multi-million Rand deal.

The 19-year-old’s transfer fee from the Cape outfit to Pirates is reportedly in the region of R2 million.
