Tinkler Glad To See Ndoro Put Pressure On Starters

Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler is delighted with the way Tendai Ndoro's display on Sunday has put pressure on the regular starters.
Ndoro came on in the 64th minute to replace Lehlohonolo Majoro, and scored his first goal five minutes later, before adding a second in the 87th minute to secure a 3-1 win over his former club Black Aces.
Tinkler was pleased with his side's second-half performance and had special praise for Ndoro and Amigo Memela.
He said: "I'm just happy we got the result. It was a much-improved performance.
"In the first half we could have been a little bit more clinical. We knew they would allow us to exploit the space out wide, and we didn't make the most of that.
"But, I'm proud of our second-half performance. We started to play on the transition, we looked to get the ball wide, and Tendai did exceptionally well coming in and getting himself a brace.
"The youngster Memela who hadn't played in quite a while also came in and did a fantastic job. So overall a good performance from everyone."
When asked if Ndoro's performance now put regular starters under pressure, Tinkler added: "It's the pressure I need. We've been extremely wasteful in front of goal and today we were a bit clinical. He had three chances and put two in the back of the net. That's what you want."
