Pirates rejects a hero at Chiefs

“It’s a good feeling to always be on the scoresheet, and we managed to get a positive result so we’re very happy about that,” ‘Mido’ told SuperSport after the match.

“It was high-intensity from the first whistle; it was very tactical and we tried to manage the game according to the coach’s instructions at half-time, and I think we executed that very well.

“By getting the second goal in the dying minutes, I think that also helped us a lot.”

Despite coming on for Bernard Parker with just under 30 minutes left on the clock, Twala made a telling contribution by grabbing the all-important goal to hand his side the full three-points, much to Maluleka’s delight.

“He [Twala] made an impact after taking over from Bernard [Parker]; he did very well especially getting on the scoresheet, so I was very, very happy for hm,” he added.
