Real Drop Points At Malaga As CR7 Misses Penalty

Cristiano Ronaldo scored and managed to miss a penalty as Real Madrid drew 1-1 with Malaga at the La Rosaleda Stadium.
The first chance of the match fell to Los Blancos in the 18th minute when Jese Rodriguez cut inside, before forcing Carlos Kameni into a fine save at the near post.
Malaga were presented with a golden chance to take the lead a minute later when Juanpi was left one-on-one with Keylor Navas, however he fired straight at the goalkeeper.
Kameni came to Malaga's rescue in the 24th minute, as the Cameroonian produced another fine stop to deny Jese from close range.
Zinedine Zidane's charges took the lead in the 33rd minute courtesy of a fine looping header from Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real were then awarded a penalty a minute later when Ronaldo was brought down in the box. However, the Portuguese stepped up and his spot-kick saved by Kameni.
The score remained 1-0 at the halftime, although Malaga did strike the woodwork just before first stanza drew to a close.
Los Blancos nearly doubled their advantage 10 minutes into the second half but Kameni pulled of a fine save to keep out Ronaldo's strike.
However, it was Malaga who got the next goal, as Weligton's low cross found Albentosa, who fired past Navas from close range in the 66th minute.
Navas was then called upon in the 76th minute, as the Los Blancos shot-stopper produced a stunning save to keep out Charles' powerful header.
Zidane's charges pushed a for a winner late in the second half but they could not struggled to create openings in the final third, as the game ended 1-1.
