MSN On Track To Break 122-Goal World Record

FC Barcelona's attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar are well on track to break their own world record of 122 goals in a single season.

The Blaugrana frontline have continued their fine form from last season and have simply not stopped scoring. In fact, they have already netted 14 times more than at the same stage last season.
In 2014/15, Messi, Suarez and Neymar had scored 57 goals towards the end of January 2015 – they currently sit on 71 goals.
The news does not really come as a surprise considering Suarez missed large parts of the first half of the previous campaign due to his FIFA ban for biting Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 World Cup.
The Uruguayan had only scored five goals at this stage last season, while Neymar had netted 21 times and Messi raced ahead with 31 strikes.
Suarez is the leading goalscorer for the club so far this season, having scored 30 times in 31 matches, while Neymar has reached the same tally as he had at this stage last season with 21 strikes, and Messi follows with 20 goals.
The Argentine is slightly off the pace due to an injury setback in October/November.
However, if the famous MSN trio continue at their current rate, they are likely to break their own world record of 122 goals.
Messi ended the previous season on 58 goals in all competitions, followed by Neymar with 39 strikes and Suarez with 25.
