Why TKO Final set to play late on 16 December? When everyone is Drunk

I'm very disappointed !!!!!! did the organisers PSL think about kickoff time?

16 December is known by too much alcohol abuse among youth and adults, the timing for PSL to play final at 18h00 will face problems of dealing with drunk people. This the same when you will make a game on the 25 December or 31 December which already have their own hype.

The PSL have confirmed that this season’s Telkom Knockout final will begin at 18h00 on 16th December at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

After weeks of speculation, Moses Mabhida was confirmed as the venue for the clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns yesterday, and the league have now announced the time and ticket prices.

A statement from the league said:
“The Premier Soccer League has announced that the 2015/16 Telkom Knockout final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs will kick-off at 18h00.
“The PSL also confirmed that tickets will sell at R60 for the final. The TKO final will be played on Wednesday, 16 December 2015 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
“The PSL will update in due course on ticket availability.”

Chiefs and Sundowns are both going to be battling it out for their first trophy of the season when they meet on December 16th, with Steve Komphela and Pitso Mosimane set to lock horns for the first time since Komphela’s appointment at Naturena.

We know that December 16, lots of visitors come to beaches to enjoy themselves but late they are all drunk. We expect the same thing  this time around plus the match will also fuel that.

Durban will not all have a problem with Drunk driving and go to the Stadium alone, drunk people looking for tickets since were sold out early.

They are only concern about fraudulent tickets which is the miner. PSL acting Chief Executive Mato Madlala has thanked the football supporters and members of the public for the support.

She said: “We have been overwhelmed by this positive response from the public. We knew that we are going to get a capacity crowd but we never anticipated selling out the whole stadium in few hours. This has been a pleasant surprise.

This affirms the fact that football remains relevant and extremely popular with millions of our people because no other sport can claim to have done the same in this country. We look forward to a packed Moses Mabhida Stadium on 16 December and a great final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.”

Madlala has warned against those who will be trying to produce fraudulent tickets.

“Through our cooperation with the South African Police Service and other security service providers, we will adopt a zero tolerance to fraudulent tickets. We urge our people not to purchase tickets from the black market,” Madlala said.
