Real Disqualified From The Spanish cup

Reports in Spain emerged during the first half of the Round of 32 tie that Russian winger, Denis Cheryshev, was not supposed to be on the pitch as he was supposed to be serving a suspension.

Cheryshev, while on loan at Villarreal last season, picked up yellow cards against Barcelona, Getafe and Real Sociedad and reports in Spain suggest he should have been suspended for the first leg the encounter on Wednesday.

The Russian winger also scored the first of Real's three goals in the first leg, before being substituted at the start of the second half.
