Barca won 6-1 At The Camp Nou

FC Barcelona booked their place in the next round of the Copa Del Rey, after they thumped Villanovense 6-1 at the Camp Nou.

Luis Enrique opted to rest Lionel Messi, while Neymar, Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta were dropped to the bench.

These two sides had already played the first leg encounter two weeks ago, with the result ending in a goalless draw.

The Catalan giants broke the deadlock after just four minutes, as Dani Alves fired home a powerful effort from 30-yards out.

The defending champions nearly doubled their lead in the 10th minute but Sergi Samper's effort from the edge of the area sailed just wide of the upright.

Barcelona grabbed their second goal after 20 minutes, as a mistake from Villanovense goalkeeper, Jose Fuentes, gifted the ball to Sandro, who curled home into the top corner.

Despite the home side's dominance, Villanovense managed to reduce the deficit in the 29th minute when Juanfran rifled home a powerful effort from 25-yards out.

However, Enrique's men restored their two-goal advantage in the 29th minute, as Sandro collected a pass from Aitor, before slotting past Fuentes.

It didn't take Barcelona long to get settled in the second half, as Munir El Haddadi registered his name on the score-sheet in the 51st minute.

The home side were not done there, as Sandro completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute with a powerful finish from range.

Enrique's charges added a sixth goal in the 76th minute when Sandro turned provider to tee up Munir, who tapped into an empty net for his second goal of the night.

Barcelona managed to see out the rest of the game with relative ease and comfortably progressed to the next round of the competition.
