What went wrong to Kaizer Chiefs in Yesterday's game?

if it wasn't Itumeleng Khune's individual brilliance in yesterday's derby Kaizer chiefs could be demolished by 7-1 in yesterday's game.

Orlando Pirates were all over Kaizer Chiefs from the first whistle until 90 minutes. yes the difference between Steve Komphela and Stuart Baxter is that Steve K believes too much on playing the open game while Stuart Baxter focuses too much on his defence rather than attacking.

We have his(Baxter) defending tactics when he used to play 5 defenders in one game,Eric  Mathoho, Tsepo Masilela,Morgan Gold, Siboniso Gaxa and Tefu Mashamaite.

It really worked for him and no one could blame him at the end fans want good results. Steve Komphela's game plan yesterday of playing an open game really favors Orlando Pirates, They were out played by Orlando Pirates in all departments.

In the middle of the park Thandani Ntshumayelo and Issa Saar controlled the game very well and kept the likes of Shabba, Yeye as well Katsande at Bay the whole game.
Khune proved to be the only man that really wanted a win on the day. for the first time in 8 years I saw Kaizer Chiefs being so poor in everything in the Derby.

The question that many people could ask themselves, can the likes of Yeye be rested and give  chance the likes of Ekstein and George Maluleka.
I can tell you now that the squad that Kaizer chiefs have won't win anything in the next coming two seasons.
I don't know whether Kaizer Chiefs players had a bad day or they didn't responded very to Komphela's philosophy but it will be interesting to see how they will plan in the next derby on the 7th of November 2015.

Credit must given to all the Pirates players, the Coach Eric Tinkler and the technical team for their outstanding performance on the day.
