Komphela’s side next face a buoyant Arrows outfit, who beat the Buccaneers 2-0 at Orlando Stadium a week ago.
lost following their defeat on Saturday, but adds that they have already studied the strengths and weaknesses of the Durban-based side.
“I think at the back of the disappointing loss [to Pirates], when you go to any match, you go in – not that we were not focused in the previous match - but understanding that each time you lose a match you lose ground, and that stakes are higher,” says Komphela.
“In that we’ll be playing against Golden Arrows, who have been doing very well, we are aware of their strengths and weaknesses. They are quite a fast team, if you give them too much space then they will start to access that space.”
Meanwhile, Komphela says he is well aware of the capabilities of Arrows mentor Serame Letsoaka after the two had previously worked together at the national Under-23 side.
“Serame is a scholar of the game, and he plays to the strength of his team. We’ve seen a couple of matches that they have played, and we know what we are up against on Tuesday.
