It's difficult to get the players you want at Orlando Pirates, says Jonevret
The Buccaneers wrapped up the 2016/17 campaign with a disappointing defeat 4-1 to SuperSport United in the 2017 Nedbank Cup final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday.
Jonevret reflected on Pirates' disastrous season which saw the team finish outside the PSL top eight for the first time.
"We have problems," Jonevret was quoted on The Sowetan.
"We have good players here and there, but if we have to be a top team again, we will have to acquire others," he continued.
"Unfortunately, this is not like at Chelsea or Man United where you get exactly what you want to buy," the Swedish tactician added.
The retired striker, who was appointed by the Pirates management in February 2017, feels that his regime brought positives.
"We have stabilised a bit from when I started. We had lots of draws but we reached a cup final - that's a positive after a season we've had," he concluded.
