PSL Footballers Who Have Reportedly Been Arrested

Default
This happened to be in the same week Steve Lekoelea was held in police custody for reportedly being in possession of a stolen vehicle, so we thought we would take a look at other PSL players who have found themselves in the police's handcuffs.
Anonymous 21-Year-Old Speedster
The police never revealed the name of this player, but a 21-year-old was arrested for speeding on the N12 freeway eastbound in the Alberton area in April this year. The head police chief claimed the footballer was clocking a speed of 196km/h in a VW Polo GTI. It took three officers on motorbikes and a BMW police vehicle to corner the player at the Edenvale exit.
Khuzwayo's Not-So-Brilliant Road Record
In August this year, Brilliant Khuzwayo reportedly landed up behind bars for speeding in his home province of KwaZulu-Natal. It was said the Kaizer Chiefs man was reaching speeds of 166km/h while driving a white BMW. He was later released on R2 000 bail.
"Shuffle" In Trouble With The Law
Jabu Mahlangu, who recently came to Lekoelea's defence after the latter's arrest, was reportedly cuffed for being in possession of a stolen vehicle while he was spending time with his friend and musician Oscar "Madluphuthu" Mgudlwa. The incident, which took place back in May 2011, saw Mahlangu reportedly being put behind bars after the duo was found with a white VW Jetta 5, which was reported stolen after the house belonging to the car's owner was broken into.
Lebese's Various Charges
George Lebese found himself on the wrong side of the law earlier this year when he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and causing malicious damage to property. Kaizer Chiefs officially confirmed his arrest after he reportedly handed himself over to the police.
