Chiefs Wanted The Three Points More
Pitso Mosimane has been enjoying a run of victories against Steve Komphela over the last decade, especially since his arrival at the current African champions, Mamelodi Sundowns.
On Friday, during a press conference, both coaches played mind games ahead of the clash between Kaizer Chiefs and the reigning champions. Then, on the pitch, Sundowns just didn't look like the same team, and fatigue looks like it is starting to set in, even though Sundowns have a galaxy of stars in their squad.
Chiefs started the game like a house on fire on Saturday, and they wanted the three points more than their opposition on the day. They looked sharper technically, physically and mentally, as they have been resting like Pitso Mosimane said after game.
It was also electrifying to see supporters pack the stadium to capacity. The FNB Stadium painted with love and peace colors. Steve Komphela enjoyed the victory and dedicated it to their loyal supporters.
