A Spark Is Missing In Chiefs' Playing Style

Default
Kaizer Chiefs kept themselves in the league title race with a win over fellow title contenders, Mamelodi Sundowns, who will feel they still have a chance despite the loss. Amakhosi’s chances have been given a psychological boost to keep the pressure on Bidvest Wits and Cape Town City.
George Maluleka has been in decent form for the Glamour Boys. He has taken over Reneilwe Letsholonyane’s position but he has yet to convince the Khosination that he is the man to take over from Yeye.
Instead Kaizer Chiefs fans ask about Hendrick Ekstein. Against Sundowns, a section of Chiefs fans called Ekstein's name. Perhaps these calls show that a spark is indeed missing in Chiefs' playing style.
Ekstein is a crowd favourite and his style of play is perfect for Chiefs. George Lebese is another player who other clubs could be courting should he not get regular game time. Keagan Buchanan has disappeared completely from the picture and has yet to live up to expectations since he was signed and handed the number 10 jersey.
