Mamelodi Sundowns complete signing of Algerian defender Fares Hachi

Mamelodi Sundowns have completed the signing of Algerian defender Fares Hachi according to reports emanating from the player's homeland.

The 27-year-old defender is said to have signed a 2-and-a-half year deal with Sundowns according to Algerian media reports.

Hachi is set to become the first Algerian player to ply his trade in South African Football.

Hachi, who has joined the Brazilians as a free agent after his contract with ES Setif expired, is set to fight for a left back position with Tebogo Langerman.

This comes after Pitso Mosimane hinted to this publication that he might push Mzikayise Mashaba up in midfield to the same position played by Keegan Dolly before his move to France.

  1. He was a free long he is a quality player I do not have a problem. I hope Mamelodi fans will learn one thing from this article... not to critisize any team signing a free agent.
