Argentina Jump Atop Of FIFA Rankings, Germany Drop Further Down

Lionel Messi's Argentina climbed to the top of the FIFA rankings, while current world champions Germany dropped further down – Bafana Bafana remained in 70th place.

The Albiceleste jumped from second to first spot, switching places with previous leaders Belgium. Copa America holders Chile climbed into third position, and Colombia are now fourth.
Current FIFA World Cup holders Germany dropped from fourth to fifth, while Spain dropped three places to sixth.
Struggling South American giants Brazil follow in seventh, one place ahead of Portugal, while Uruguay and England complete the top 10.
The 2006 World Cup champions, Italy, are in at 15th, while the Netherlands have dropped to 17th and Euro 2016 hosts France appear in 21st place.
Algeria are now the highest ranked African team, in at 33, one ahead of the Ivory Coast, while Shakes Mashaba's struggling South Africa side remained unmoved in 70th position.
